Happy New Year! AcousticAvenues.org gets a facelift.

I'm ringing in the New Year with a new look for the site.  Should old web designs be forgot... definitely!

Okay, here's the really embarrassing admission.  I don't play web developer on TV, but I am one in real life.  Yes.  I spend all day making other web sites look good -- sometimes spending hours just to tweak the look of a page.  Yet No matter how many times I looked at this old thing, I never found the time to make the Acoustic Avenues web site anything interesting to look at.  Below is a reminder of the old site -- functional, but uninteresting.

The old AcousticAvenues.org design

At last, I started working on the design with stolen moments over the holidays. I finally spent a near all-nighter to move the old content into the new design.  Overall, I'm very happy with the new design (and I'm really happy that I found a sunny moment on an otherwise cloudy morning to get a nice picture of our house for the header).

Coming soon...

On January 30th, the Acoustic Avenues sound system is taking it on the road to support the Robbie Schaefer (1/4 of the group Eddie From Ohio) house concert being hosted by TOPP-LINE ENTERTAINMENT.

Stay Up-to-Date:

If you add your email address to our Yahoo!  Groups mailing list (see below), we'll keep you updated with our schedule.  We also send out occasional messages about other house concerts in the area.  But, don't worry!  We send fewer than 10 messages per year.
